The Postgraduate School

The Postgraduate School is the highest element within the system of training of research and teaching staff at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Development (IAPM).

During their studies, the postgraduate students get help from highly skilled scientific advisors of the Academy. They are annually certified in accordance with an approved program.

The theses are defended at meetings of the Specialized Academic Councils of the leading scientific institutions and higher education establishments of Ukraine.

In case of successful defense of dissertations and based on a decision of the Highest Certifying Commission of Ukraine, the postgraduates are conferred the degree of Candidate of Science on the specialties they chose.

Specialties:

08.00.03 – Economics and national economy management;

08.00.04 – Economics and plant management (management of foreign-economic activity);

12.00.01 – Theory and practice of State and legal history; history of political and legal teachings;

23.00.02 – Political institutions and processes.

The Postgraduate School admits citizens of Ukraine and other countries having higher education at the level of a specialist/master.

Regulations

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management provides the postgraduate students with an opportunity to work during their studies at its Library and Information Center, as well as at the leading scholarly libraries of Ukraine.

The day-form postgraduates have an opportunity to combine their studies with work.

During theirs studies, the postgraduates pass the qualifying exams in a foreign language and philosophy.

In order to enter the Postgraduate School, it is necessary to file:

an application to be addressed to the IAPM Chancellor;
a personnel record sheet;
an autobiography;
a copy of the credential of a specialist (master);
a copy of the passport;
a medical certificate according to the form 086-y;
four photographs (3 cm x 4 cm).
an abstract on the chosen specialty or a list of published scientific papers.

The entrants take the following entrance examinations:

philosophy;
foreign language (at entrant’s option);
specialty.

Training is subject to payment.

Conferences

The IAPM’s postgraduate students have opportunities to participate in scientific conferences and seminars held by the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management concerning such issues as economics, political sciences, law and the like.
